You are invited to take part in a research project exploring what LGBTIQA+ young people think about LGBTIQA+ history today. This research project is called “The Young People and LGBTIQA+ Histories project” and is for participants who:
- identify as LGBTIQA+ (lesbian / gay / bisexual / transgender / intersex / queer / asexual / and/or otherwise diverse in terms of sexuality and/or gender);
- are aged between 16 and 25 years old;
- are based in either Naarm/Melbourne or Ngunnawal Country/Canberra (or live close and could travel there); and
- are interested in sharing and learning more about LGBTIQA+ histories, and what LGBTIQA+ young people think about them.

Participation in this research is voluntary. If you don’t wish to take part, you don’t have to.
If you decide you want to take part in the research project, you will be asked to fill out and sign the consent form. By signing it you are telling us that you:
- Understand what you have read;
- Consent to take part in the research project; and
- Consent to the use of your information as described.
You will be given a copy of this Participant Information Sheet to keep.
